Voila! Another boring day at home. I'd have to say, I wish I was back in college doing what we do best - studying! At least I have something to do. But now, all I do is chores, chores, chores, sleep, eat, watch TV, try new recipes for whatever ingredients we have at home and also exercise once in a while. (Not all the time, okay? Too malas to do everyday.)
Yesterday, I moved all the unwanted files, books and notes that I got from college. Interesting thing is, I didn't know that I had so many self-made notes and photocopied notes and stuff. They were too heavy! I needed help from Ritz and Lena to carry it to our apartment. (Yerp, transferred it to our apartment to leave room for new notes, books and files.) I don't even know why we have that apartment in the first place. We store all our junks there, little supplies of food (Because most of the supplies we buy are for Toks place.), and some magazines and BIG collection of novels there. Well, we do sleep there, but we never spend afternoons or evenings there. Anyway, before this, our Dad was soo kedekut in buying us some shelves, so we had to just put them on the floor and stuff. Yeah sure, he gave us beds, matteresses, tables and chairs, TV(But no Astro? C'mon!), water heater, air-conds in every room, but he is still downright STINGY!
Why you ask? Long story: If you don't know him, then you don't know the story. Tough luck. Short story: Something about him when he was our age... more independant.. lived alone.. no money.. bla bla bla bla... Well yeah so what? A lot of things happened now since our era began. Things like discovering fire... electricity... the wheel.. and, guess what, TV! He keeps on blabbering the same lecture since I was in Standard 5. And his line (Whenever I ask for money.) would be, "Do you think I have a money printer in the house?" "Wait here while I go print some money from my printer." "Do you think money grows on trees?" "Okay, I'll just pick some of the money on our money tree at the back." Can he be anymore lame?
Anyway, yesterday, the three of us finally put together the shelf that we were begging for for so long. (Okay, our Dad actually bought us the shelves about a month ago, it's just that we had no time to put it together because I had exams and Ritz had exams and stuff like that. Just thought you should know that our Dad is not entirely "evil".) Noticed that i said shelf, instead of shelves, in the beginning of this paragraph? Because we had time to put together only one of the two shelves that he bought us. Yeah, we got home pretty late last night because we had dinner with Toks and Mommy. So, by the time we were knocking and screwing things, people had started to complain. (Which I find really weird because it was only 10pm. Only people with no lives sleep that early. Ha-ha!) There was this moment when we heard the opposite neighbour unlocked his door and front grill and yelled at us to stop. It was kinda funny because the three of us suddenly stopped dead in our tracks. We stopped hammering and stuff. When we heard him go back inside, we continued the nuisance. (Okay, here's the low down. I learned that in Tort Law it is really hard to actually know who is the wrong do-er because in private nuisance it is defined as when a person's use or enjoyment of his land has been interfered. You must have proprietory interest in the land/property in order for you to bring an action. But the thing is, where do you draw the line between your own enjoyment of your land/property and the enjoyment of others for theirs? That's when it gets so frickin' complicated.. the courts will try to apply the unreasonableness test under the case of Sedleigh O' Callaghan vs. Denfield. Oh shooot! I don't remember whether that's correct or not. I'm just typing through memory. Anyway, long story made short, they can't sue us for making the noise because we were simply "enjoying our land/property". I'd advised them to use self-abatement first. More practical. Hey! why am I blabbering about Tort Law? Exams over! I should rest my brain. stupidos)
Around 11pm, Ritz hit the sack because he has school the following the day. Which left me and Lena to tend to our incomplete mission. We were giggling and snickering when we heard our neighbour complaining again. (The devil we are.) And again, we ignored him. We just feared if he would be so bold as to knock our apartment door down.(Community service reminder: Kids, don't try this at home.) That'll be some scary shit that you only get to see in movies! Phew! Nothing happened that night. So, we both figured that after annoying him a lot, it was time for us to hit the sack. Only that we weren't that tired.... Off to the DVD case, Batman! (You would know what I mean if you watched the TV show. :p I'm a geek, so sue me.)
Most of the DVDs we bought, I had already watched. But I wanted to watch Cheaper By the Dozen 2 since the day we bought it. You see, I liked the first one. It was hilarious. When I watched the second one.. it was also funny. I liked it a lot. Only that Hilary Duff looked a bit sick because she was too skinny for my liking. It looked as though she hadn't a decent meal since like FER-ever! Her skin was so taught over her face, you could actually see her bone structure so clearly! It's kinda freaky! I mean, yay for her because she looks thin and all, but in addition to that, she looks like she's underfed.
Anyway, so here I am. In utter boredom. Complaining, yet again, about how boring life is after ALevels. *Yawn* I should get some sleep. I have work tomorrow. (Finally! Something to look forward to.) I'm also considering to work with my Dad in his company. I mean, I do need the money. He's willing to pay me RM800 a month. Not that I don't get payment from Starbucks, it's just that they don't really put me on-floor now and then. So, I need to look elsewhere for financial support. We all know asking from ol' Daddy-O is a big No-no. So, yeah. Downside in working with Dad:
1. He'll be my boss. (That's the worse of it all.)
2. He'll be on my ass the whole time. (No, no. Don't think negatively. We're all civilized people here, okay?)
3. Who is gonna pick Ritz up from school? (Major problem since we only have one Baby K.)
4. I have to wear baju kurung.
5. I have to wear baju kurung.
6. I have to wear baju kurung?
7. I have to wear baju kurung!!!
Yeah, okay. Enough of the dramatic side. I have work tomorrow morning, remember? Note to self: Never blog late at night. Ever! I tend to get really sick in the head. Lol!
Adioz!~
P/s: Thanks for the talk we had over the phone, Anwar. Really appreciated. Just needed to hear it from someone else who's not "naturally smart". Not that I'm implying that you're not smart, that is. You're very hardworking and I really admire you for that. Take care! Muahz!
P/ss: It was Daddy's birthday. He asked us whether we had plans tonight or something. Then he said, if he's doing something to celebrate his birthday he'll call us. And our phones never rang his number. Turns out, Anawr called his house and noone picked up. He thought we were with Daddy, I guess. Since he wasn't at home and it wasn't that late at night..... you do the math. I'm not firing accusations here, only that this isn't the first time he chose his "new" family over us. Oh boo-hoo! Get over yourself already! Tata y'all!

omg!! no wonder...i called daddy freakin 3 times n he didnt pick it up..and the 3rd time i called he cancelled my call!! the nerve...grrrrrrrrrrr
Js thought i'd tell ya that Daddy-o was out on a date with Auntie Nurie, and left all 3 kids at home with the org gaji. That's his reason for not pickin any of the phone calls up. Had a good but civil discussion with Dad and hopefully he'll consider what i had to say to him properly...
But still, no reason for him to ignore us. We called him, too and he didn't pick up the phone. Jangan la "romantic" sangat sampai ignore.
