Hey Reader,
The other day I went to Morrison's to do my grocery shopping, I had only brought along L5 worth of coins with me at the time. But before going there I had to make a quick pit stop to the library to renew my books' due date. I owed the library L1 for both the books which I had gotten a late due notice. Sighh... at the time I had gotten the dates mixed up so that was why I renewed the books late. So after renewing the books (AND paying the L1, which left me with only L4 to do my shopping!) I walked to the bus stop near CK and awaited the bus. It didn't take long, thank God. I met up with my friends there.
I did a perfect budget, nothing was off. Until I realized that I couldn't afford these delicious cinnamon and sultana bread. I was sick of croissants already (because a certain someone likes it so much so I feel that if I keep buying it, it becomes really not special anymore because before this it really reminded me of Paris whenever I ate buttered croissant with Nutella. Copy-cat bizatch..) so I wanted something else. So I wanted that cinnamon and sultana bread. It was sweet deal of 2 for the price of L1 only! And there were 6 in one packaging. It was a good deal, alright.
But I counted my money... it wasn't enough. So, I had to put it back.
Sigh... this part really made me feel so down, because I had not enough money.
So as I went to the cashier to pay my items off, suddenly I saw there were those breads in the basket again. And I was wondering... and pondering, "Didn't I just put these back to the counter?"
I shook my head and presumed that it was maybe Lamia's or Sate's.
So when it was my turn to pay, I had to borrow from Sate L1 because I knew that I couldn't afford it without his help.. thanks to the library!
I had counted it all in advance, I knew it was on the dot L5.50. I was lucky enough to fine an extra 50 pence in my purse.... when suddenly...... the cashier ringed me at L6.50.
I was dumbfounded!
I looked at the items charged... that bread was there! I was like, "What the hell!!! I didn't buy that!"
So I had to borrow an extra L1 from Sate again.. sheesh!~
After that, I walked to the exit, feeling a bit numb inside. When suddenly Lamia said that it was hers and that she bought it for Kamlesh. So I was like, OMG! Thank God, it wasn't mine because I didn't buy it!
So she paid Sate the L1. Phew!~
BUT!!!! Yesterday after I had finished making these absolutely delicious Polish dish with, Greg and his coursemate, Marta, I went over to #76 to play the Game of Life.
Then Kamlesh said that actually Lamia bought it for me because he said she saw me put it back on the shelf. Hmmmm.....
He told me that when everyone was there. I hadn't felt do embarassed in a very long time. I was really embarassed.
I felt like a charity case..... Everyone was silent for a while. And I didn't know how to react. I suppose I was thankful, but also sad and embarassed. They didn't have to do that. :(
It made me feel worse. I know their intentions were commendable, but I just felt so useless at that point. Sighh....
That's all.
Leanna Darwin.

Fussy Clutzy.
Hey Reader,
just now someone in my friends list in Facebook (I don't even know who that person is, by the way, and I'm deleting him after posting this blog entry.) posted his relationship status as "engaged". And the funny thing is... he suddenly posted his status saying: keep it to yourself.
Okay, for me that was stupid because he said keep it to yourself meaning it's implied that he wants it to keep it on the down-low. But then why did he publicly announce it in Facebook??
It just boggles the mind, actually.
To me, I think it's rather... err.. how shall I put it... poyo to actually publicize your relationship status over in Facebook.
Sometimes I see some of my friends (the people that I do know, unlike Mr. John Doe here.) displaying their relationship status as "in a relationship" or "it's complicated" or "in an open relationship" and days later they'll be having a fight with their significant other and changing their status as "single" and then there'll be a big hype about people asking "OMG! what happened?" and yada yada yada.. and then a few days after the "show-stopping" event, they'll be changing their relationship status as "in a relationship" again.
To me................ I think you either should just not post anything (like what I'm doing..) so it would seem rather mysterious in that people would wonder and ponder about whether or not you are, or not, in a relationship with Mr. X. And I'll be happily saying... nope. :p haha!~
Sheesh people! What's with the fuss about wanting to tell the whole world that you're with somebody? I don't even care if people think I'm single or not. Why should I inform people (especially those I don't even know!) about me relationship status.
Me thinky if you wanty to knowy, just asky me-ey, okie?
This was just a spontaneous blog entry. Don't mean to offend you if you just so-happen to be in the category of those I've just mentioned. Not targeting anyone here, I swear.
Scouts Honor!
Take care.
Sincerely,
Leanna Darwin.

A Moment of Reflection.
Dear Readers,
Have you ever felt like the world is just? Nope, it's never just. If you think it is, then probably you've been protected within the confinements of your parents' crib.
In other words, you should get out more. See the real world. And when I say go out, I don't mean hanging out with your friends. I mean really, really see the world.
Appreciate the beauty that is nature... and yet it is thinning down.
Appreciate the culture... and yet it is transitioning into another totally alien one.
Appreciate and respect one another... and yet we all have our differences so its really difficult nowadays.
I don't really feel like going out of my room. I'm just tired of plastering my fake smiles everywhere. It's really tiring.
Talking to people I don't feel like talking to.
Smiling to people I don't feel like smiling to.
Meeting people I don't really feel like meeting.
You might think that I'm this really stupid self-centered person, when in actual fact, I'm not. People just don't get me.
The ones who actually do get me are family.... and Izzet.
I miss family so much!
However, it surprises me to mention his name because of all the previous things I've said about him.
Truthfully speaking, I've never met anyone who really gets how much a person like me enjoys to be alone, yet craves for love and affection from the people she loves.
No one knows that part of me.
He doesn't even mind being not being my priority in life, which is soooo weird. Because I've told him that he's 4th in my list of priorities.. and he said he doesn't mind.. He said that he was happy just as long as he was on my list. :(
Sounds really sad, though.
Poor fella. I can't say much because I just don't feel anything much for him or for the relationship anymore. The hardest thing is to ask for it... which I can't do. I want him to do it, but he said no matter what I do, he'll never do it. Great......................
I'm in such a predicament, it's not even funny anymore. And he's having his finals (The absolute final one for semester of his Degree.) and I don't want to jeopardize it. I can't do it now. I care too much for him to want to do anything to make him unhappy. And he told me a few days ago that he couldn't sleep for 4 days. Sigh........
Sincerely,
Leanna Darwin.

Hy Reader,
I'm at Mickey D's right now.
I just love using the internet here because the connection is faster than the one in ss15. I'm in Taipan's, by the way.
Izzet's not here at the moment. Something about needing to attend a submarine launching ceremony.... if you know what I mean. *Wink wink*
I love buying and eating the Breakfast Special set. It's only RM4 for a sausage McMuffin and a tea, which is all I need to get my day started. But you could only get this set on weekdays.
I'm right now i'm waiting for my stamina and energy to increase for Sorority Life. So, in the meantime I decided to bloggie-blog.
Darn it! The dang internet connection sucks right now. Just when I was just about to compliment its reliability... I must've spoken too soon!! Grrr...
Gotta go now.
Love,
Leanna Darwin.

Walk ALONE For Now.
Hey Reader,
guess what? I'm at the cyber cafe right now. Again!~ LOL.
Do you wanna know why?????????
Because of Sorority Life!!! Hahahahaha.
It's soooo hard for me to get connections sometimes at kopitiams and whatnots, so I thought it'd be easier to just go to a place that actually provides internet!! Like duh!~
I know, I know. I had to walk all the way from home just to play this. And plus, I walked alone. But don't worry... I'll be home before Maghrib, I promise you.
This game is sssssooooooo addictive. Thanks Jenna for introducing to lil ol moi!
Muahz!

My Life In A Sorority
Hey Reader,
I don't actually mean that I have actually pledged or anything. What I meant by the title was that I've started playing this new application in Facebook a few days ago. And God dang it, I'm frickin' addicted to it.
It's so weird, I'm normally not addicted to Facebook's applications save for the ones such as "My House" and those that I can send cute stuff to my family and friends.
But this one rocks! I'm not really a "Girly-girl" type of girl. More like the kind that enjoys shooting people in Counter-Strike or strategizing against opponents in games such as Red Alert, Star Craft or even Age of Empires.
Sorority Life actually makes me feel like a girl!! hahaha...
God, that only shows how tom-boyish I am. Thank you Sorority Life for making me feel girly and making sure I have something to do during bulan Puasa next month!!! LOL.
Love,
Leanna Darwin.

Good ol' Handy Plaster.
...fudge. I went on and plastered it back, silly goose. Poor guy.
Anyway, I'm so happy Daddy is ok. Alhamdulillah. I could not stand the pain. I felt like doing nothing but to just lie flat ontop of the tar road outside the confinements of my Toks' crib, hoping that a steamroller would eventually pass by and roll me and leave me all bloody, yet rolled up, on the tar. Yup, yup. I was deeply saddened and depressed. But now, I feel better. Much better.
Thank you to those whom have showed their TLC toward lil ol' me. I am deeply grateful that I know caring people such as yourselves. You know who you are. God bless you. :)

Cuckkooo-Cuckkooo!
Hello there, fellow Reader.
An interesting day I had today. A hardcore learning experience.
TORT - I was clueless in class. I just seem to rely on my A-Levels memory of the subject, which is a dumb thing to do because I'm in 2nd year of LLB. Duh!~ Of course it would be more in-depth. I was relying on Farah and Tasya's help most of the time...
LAND - I might as well just commit suicide right there and then. I know absolutely nada. Zilch. A big fat goose egg. Thank goodnes Farah was around to aid my zero-filled knowledge.
TRUST - Phew! Now I'm glad I know a substantial amount of knowledge for this subject!! Thank goodness!!! I wasn't completely clueless in this class.
All in all... I just have to say that Izzet's been a very big distraction at the moment. I know, I know. Why are you still hung up on that jerk, you ask? Simple answer. But with many possible answers.. Go figure.
Sigh..
Oh wow!! I love this song playing on my Mom's laptop right now. (She left it on. I'm using my laptop right now.)
Guns & Roses - November Rain
Such a sad song. I always feel kinda sad when I hear this song. The guitar is awesome in that song.
Anyway, I'm so glad that Farah and Tasya are a funny lot because they kept my mind from thinking of him. Until now, that is....
What an ass! I still can't believe how easy he's taking this. He called yesterday night.. like for the tenth time that day. I finally picked up. He wanted to tell me how f*cked up his exam was. (Mind you, he said the F word. I'm just repeating what he said. I don't swear. Unless I'm SUPER mad, that is.)
Like I give two shits about his exam. Then he said that he wanted to take me to the movies after his exams finished. Hmmmm...ok. What strikes me odd is why don't this jerk just go ask his girlfriend to go with him? Is it because when I go out with him we go Dutch and he doesn't have to a pay a single cent and so he could save up for his girlfriend instead? Fat chance.
I ain't goin' out with him no more, man. I even told him that I'm selling his ticket to Shahir...
"Is it ok if I give your ticket to Shahir instead? Because you didn't pay for it yet."
(Slight pause)
"Uhh.. yeah sure. It's ok. But it's kinda breakin' my heart, actually."
HAH! I didn't even know he had a heart. Why did he have to say that? It just doesn't make sense. Plus he said that he was eating dinner with his "friend" when he called me. Puh-lease. I was there at Starbucks when I heard his girlfriend said she's going out with him later that day. Stop with all the lies already, will ya? It's just sickening.
Ciao, Reader.
Sincerely distraughted,
Leanna Darwin.

Once A Jerk, Always A Jerk
Hey Reader,
Wow.. what a strange thing life is, huh? You'd think you know someone, even for a short while.. and end up finding out the real deal.
Seems like you just never know how to differentiate between a nice + caring guy and a nice + caring + player guy. How to tell the difference, you ask?
EASY-shmeasy.. Uncover the truth beyond the web of lies.
Deceit. Yes, it is an awful word.
Silence. Hard to make an inference out of.
Deceit + Silence = Jerk.
Those are the main ingredients. Minor ones... Sweet-talker, Comforter, Understanding.
If you ever... EVER encounter a person like this... don't go on. Just jump off the boat and swim to the nearest-and SAFEST!- island you can find for you would only get lost at sea if you stay on board.
Thank God I jumped off before the ship set off for sea.
Seems like he's got a girlfriend already. Oooooh... the heartache I felt.. I can't describe. Yeah, yeah. I know I said that we were just friends.. but the truth for the matter is I was just uncertain about our relationship. Turns out.. there was none even to begin with.
The heartache I felt when I heard about it.. no wait! Saw it with my own TWO EYES... the girl. A Starbucks customer.
Funny... no wonder he always never wanted the partners to see us together in the store. He would either run away first and ask me to meet up in Jom Bali (Next door from Starbucks!) or he would ask me to wait first when he passes Starbucks.
Hmmmm... was I stupid or just plain dumb? Because wasn't it obvious? He definitely did not want to be seen with me. Wanna know why??????????
Because the other partners know about the girlfriend. How stupid did I feel when Shah whispered in my right ear? Pretty darn STUPID!
"Sarah, kalau you nak tau kan.. That girl kat belakang skali tu.. Tu lah girlfriend Izzet."
"What? You're kidding!?"
"Tak.. betul. Dia slalu ada kat sini."
"Slalu dengan Izzet, eh?"
"A'ah..."
HAH!
I am nothing but a fool.
Now, I'm avoiding him. He called more than 5 times already. What does he want from me? Can't he call his girlfriend instead???
"Hey ya...everythin okay there babe..." Was his last message.
"Sarah dear..my exam at 2.15...Wish me luck k...kinda scared ne way..haih.." Was his second last message.
I want to sell his Gala Night ticket to someone else. Maybe I'll invite Shahir. Shahir, if you're reading this... let me know if you're free. ;)
I gotta go. I gotta let-off some steam.. I want to jog now. My stamina sucks now. Not like how it used to be. Last time I could jog for an hour... non-stop. Now.. 10 minutes ONLY!! Like what the hell, man?
Take care, dear Reader.
Yours truly,
Leanna Darwin.

Splitting... I Don't Mean It In That Way
Hey Reader,
I've just discovered that JEALOUSY is the worst emotion that anyone could acquire! Hmmm...
What a productive day I had with Izzet today. The more time i spend with him, the more I feel that we should remain friends. *Sigh*
I'm so confused now.....
Oh snap! That's his ringtone right now on my phone. Gotta split.
Just when I wanted to get to the good part...
Take care, Reader!

Time and Tide Waits For No Man. Also, Men Wait For No Women.
Hey Reader,
I just took a shower. So, I ain't stinky no more. The whole day I was sweating a lot! I can't stand the heat any longer. I think I'll die of dehydration. Yes, dehydration.
I keep drinking but end up peeing. So what's the point? Because I'd get thirsty~ DUH!~
You know what I've just realized? That this blog template doesn't allow me to change my font size, color and the type of font. Like what the hell? It's not fun.
It's never fun if you can't get creative. And hey, I'm pretty freakin' creative okay? I can only do THIS and do THIS! Boring... If I want to change color and stuff I'd have to type in all these computer crap mumbo jumbo that I can't comprehend.
So now I'm just stuck with this. If you've noticed, I've changed my blog templates a lot. I think it's been three already? *Counting with right hand* Yup. Three. (And soon to be FOUR!)
I can't settle on a template that I like. I guess I get bored easily with the same ol' stuff. I apply this characteristic in my love life. That's why it's D-E-A-D. My love life, I mean. Not my characteristic. I'm pretty gosh-darn fun. (Okay, that sounded so nerdy.)
I'm wating on Izzet right now. He's taking me out clubbing. Again. With his sister and Rasheed. Hmmm.... I'm not really a fan of clubbing if it's not with the people I care a lot about. And not forgetting, comfortable to be my crazy self on the dancefloor. And trust me, Izzet's just not at that level yet. I'm trying my best to open up to him.
But one can only try so hard....
Hmmm.. 9.14pm. He said he'd pick me up around 10pm? Or was it 11pm? Whatever the time is, I'm still not ready. Oh my God! Does that indicate that I'm totally not interested? Only God knows, and only time will tell.
Only time will tell.. that's a good title for a song. It's been a while since I last wrote some lyrics. I miss composing. I always pour my heart out when composing. I miss Afiq! :( Stoopid fall-out!! Hopefully we've amended things.
Pinz was telling me about her poetry the other day at work and it got me thinking about my Mother Nature vs. The Man poem. I wish I could write another poem again, but I can't because I'm not feeling inspired at all. When I wrote that poem, I was overwhelmed with sadness, anger and confusion. But mostly I was feeling sadness.
9.20pm. Hmph! Only 6 minutes?! How slower can I get?
Alright, I'm feeling guilty now. I should get ready. You should never let a guy wait for you. It's just rude.
Take care, dear Reader. Sorry because it's so short and simple.
Yours Truly,
Leanna Darwin.
XoXo
P.s: Shahir, if you're reading this. I'm so sorry I couldn't answer your call and reply. I was busy and I have no credit. But I swear, I'll top up soon, okay? Take care. Hope to meet up soon! ;)

Done Deal.
Yesterday I went out with Lena, Afiq and Izzet. I don't what it is, but something happened yesterday that made me realize that I don't want to be in a relationship. I don't even think I am in one since we were always "unofficial".
I know I said a lot of times that I like him. But something happened yesterday which makes me feel happy to be single.
Firstly, I was talking to Afiq about recruiting cute guys in the band. That's just me. I even asked my manager, Ammar, to recruit cute guys. Is that a crime? No. Because I was just teasing. If the guys recruited just so happens to be cute... then it's just my luck. I'd have to step up my game. LOL. Kidding. So when I asked Afiq that, Izzet suddenly had that look like what-the-hell-are-you-saying look. I don't really know if thats what he was thinking, but it sure looked like that look.
Secondly, there were two cute guys sitting at a table next to ours. As usual, Lena and I would talk about it. I supposed Izzet heard because he later on brought it up in our conversation. He said something about we giggle and talk about this guy and that guy. I mean what the hell, man.
Thirdly, Lena doesn't really like Izzet because of yesterday. And I always trust her judgements. She's been right about all my exes so far.
Fourthly, I just want my freedom to look at guys without being controlled. Don't think I don't see him looking at other girls with their short skirts and skinny legs, because I do. And I don't mind at all. But when he acted all offensive when I looked at other guys with my twin, it just takes my freedom away. If I were to be in a relationship with him and that I have to sacrifice my freedom to browse for cute guys.. I say no way. Goodbye. Ta-ta. Adios. Adieu. Bon Voyage. Ciao. Selamat tinggal.
Single status is better for me because I'm not ready to commit. Ive been single for about 3 years now and it just feels weird to change my course. Plus, think of all the money i can save with NOT topping up.
Jannah, when you come back.... we are so going clubbing with Dina. The other day we met up with her and she doesn't mind. And this time... no Eddie. So you can enjoy yourself and you won't have to babysit. :p
Lena wants to go. So, it's gonna be fun! Tito and Iwan would have to go, too. Before this, I'd thought of inviting Izzet to come along, but foreseeing the potential outcome of it he's been scratched off the list.
Ok, I'm hungry now.
Ciao!~

Reality Bites. And It Stings!
Why the heck am I smiling? *Pulls a straight face* Ok, I don't think I'm smiling anymore. *Walks to a nearby mirror* Nope. Still smiling. :)
Today, I mean yesterday, I spent almost half a day with Izzet. I almost cancelled last minute because my left eye had an allergic reaction which caused a slight swelling around the eyelid area. The previous night, my left eyelid got itchy so I rubbed it. But I felt it sting and applied some ice. Next morning I woke up to find Popeye staring back at me through the mirror. Hahahahaha.
Like I said, I meant to cancel it. Again. But no, I braced myself. I could do it. We had cancelled too many times. Enough already. So I just told him over the phone about it. He told me to apply onion juice. (Huh?? Like hell I will.) He did say that it would be excruciating. Never mind. I didn't dare do it.
Anyway, I don't want to give the full details of my day. It's just too much to say. Here are the places that we went to today:-
1. Subang Carrefour (We met up.)
2. Subang KTM Station (Missed the train by few seconds. Darn.)
3. KL Central (People everywhere!)
4. KL Central Monorail (Long queue!)
5. Bukit Bintang Monorail (Could see that the crowd began to thicken.)
6. Bukit Bintang 7-Eleven (It was too hot, we had to buy a drink.)
7. Bentley Music Store (He showed me all these signature drumsticks and snares. Cool!)
8. Pavilion (Watched National Treasure 2.)
9. Midvalley (Now I know it's "Chili's" hehe.)
10. The Garden (Boring. But we did take a few pix of ourselves there.)
We met up around 12pm and reached Subang station around 10.30pm. He walked me to Toks place. He couldn't get a ride home so I offered a ride. It's the least I could do since he paid for most of the activities we did. It was like around 11pm when we reached his place.
He gave me my present- Adrian Young's signature drumsticks.
I gave him his present- the Rush Chronicles DVD. (I'm glad he loved it!)
He lend me The Police CD. It was for me to study some technical skills for my drumming. It contained a small note:
To: Sarah
Disc 2 Track No. 4
I Dedicate this song to you.
Izzet :)
We said goodbye and he kissed me.................... at my cheeks. :p
Puh-lease, he knows I'm not that type ok? It's good that he knows me well. He even told me that he likes to observe me sometimes. Just to see what I'm doing, and guess what I'm thinking (An impossible task, might I add. No one, and I mean NO ONE, can get inside my head and get out in a perfectly sane state. Perhaps only Lena. She knows how my mind works. Duh!~ We are Twins.).
Anyway, so I played the song over and over again in the car. Full blast. It was a funny song (To me, at least.). So, I knew it wasn't the song itself that he was dedicating but the lyrics. I couldn't really hear them, though.
I went online to check out the lyrics. (Oh, I see..... Every little thing I do is magic? Lol.)
I couldn't help but smile all the way home in the car. Up till now. :p
Had fun. Interesting stuff we talked about. Would you believe it if I told you that that was our first date? I don't know if we could call it a date, though. We didn't actually dress up for the "occasion".
Putting that aside, I have other things to think about. Like my PTPTN application form. KJ apartment because it's been 4 days straight since we last went there. Ritz is having a bad fever and it's hard for me to take care of him if we're in the KJ apartment because I won't be there most of the time. At least at Toks place he gets the undivided attention from Mommy.
Other things like Starbucks.... money problem.... drained account... assignments... presentation! *sigh* Slammed back to reality. Fun to get away from it all even for a short while.
Ciao!~
p/s: Those stuff I mentioned in the last two paragraphs didn't stray far from my mind. They constantly popped up in my mind during my "date". What a nuisance. But nevertheless, they are equally important. Izzet noticed that my mind kept drifting away to an unknown land. I'm just not ready to have anything serious. And he knows that, too. I'm such a loser!

Forgetful Me.
Whoops! I was so busy blogging about my friend's engagement, I forgot to blog about this.
Ok, today I was supposed to go out with Izzet. He invited me out to eat at Chilli's. (Chillie's? Chilie's? Cili? I don't know. Never been there before. Shocking, huh?) So, I was excited. I mean c'mon! I kinda like the guy, for crying out loud. Shhhh..... Don't tell anyone that, ok? Lol.
I was excited because we had been planning to go out for ages! Really, we always make plans.. but then had to cancel last minute either because of work, college, friends, family and stuff. So I thought, Finally! We can go out. But..... as usual. Ada je halangan.
I had picked out an outfit already. Twirled in front of the mirror. As though it was like my wedding dress or something. Lol. Kidding! I'm not like that at all. I just pick out an outfit and then that's it. No twirling. No dancing. No jumping with joy. Just pick it out, then I'm done. But of course the outfit's gotta match.
Anyway, as the morning sun slowly crept up to it's highest peak in the sky, then comes the afternoon. As afternoon came, so did my sudden pain attack in my stomach. No, it wasn't nerves. Or at least I think it wasn't. But yeah, it wasn't. It was the sponge cake from Wawan's wedding I ate a few days ago. The wedding was last year.... you catch my drift?
So, I had to cancel it with Izzet. As disappointing as it may sound, we got over it. We've grown accustomed to our "raincheckings". So, the so-called date was moved to tomorrow. I wonder what unforseen excuse is gonna happen tomorrow.
Since the "date" was cancelled today, I hung out with Afiq when I was feeling much better. He helped me pick out a present for Izzet. The Rush Chronicles, a DVD of their songs and concerts.
Ok, here's the deal. I didn't know what his fav band was. I thought it could be The Police or Rush or The Doors or all those other bands he introduced to me. Too much. I just didn't know which one. Afiq said that he did mention that he admires Rush's drummer, Neil Peart. Apa lagi... beli la.
Later on, he called. I didn't pick up so I called him back. I tried to sound as casual as possible when I asked about his fav band.
Sarah: Oh hey! You keep introducing these bands to me.. but I don't actually know which ones your favourite.
(Riiiight.. real smooth, Idiot!)
Izzet: Yeah? Well, it's The Police. (He couldn't see, but I was hitting my forehead on the other line.) The drums are cool!... blablablablabla... Roxanne... blablablablabla.....Message In A Bottle..."
Sigh... I should've gone with my first instinct. I knew he liked The Police because he would not stop talking about them. It's ok, thanks anyway, Afiq. At least he likes the drummer from Rush, right?
Anyway, I'm currently listening to the 3 CDs he gave me to listen to. I feel like a drum critc, where people send their demo CDs for me to criticize on. You know, like those food critics where they write their reviews in the newspaper and all... Ok. Nevermind. Ignore what I said.
Blink 182. Boring. Never really liked their songs.
Who's Box Car Racer? Sounds like Blink 182 a bit.
Goldfinger. Not bad. Catchy tune.
And the list just goes on and on.
Okay, I gotta go now.
Ciao!~

Confusing As Ever
Question: How can you tell whether a guy is a player or a sweet-talker?
Cause I sure as hell don't know.
I'm confused. He says all these lovey-dovey words. But at the same time, he keeps talking about his ex.
Ni yang buat malas nak layan. I don't like guys who says "babe", "hun", "miss ya", "love ya" but don't mean it. Like what the fudge do you want?
Leading me on or something?
Trying to reel me into the web?
After I've been caught in the web, you decide not to devour me. Like what the fudge?
Keep texting me. When I don't have credit, he decides to call.
Then over the phone, the words, "I still love her. And I still can't forget her" pops up. And a moment of realization occurs, He's not talking about you!
The case of the ex.
Then why the hell are you talking on the phone with me for? Go call her up and tell her straight about how you feel. Don't be calling me at night about how much you miss her.
I don't give a damn, Fool.
I don't give two shits.
I'm starting to fall out of interest in you. You could stop calling me now.
And I'll pretend that I don't want you to call me because secretly I do want you to.
See? Now, I'm confused. Because of you.
Cause I sure as hell don't know.

Simple Tunes
Yesterday night, #029 had the "Spring cleaning" session and dinner... Steamboat! (Which could have been great for me... if I wasn't allergic to seafood. I just told the peeps that as long as I don't consume the actual seafood, I would be ok. Meaning, I can slurrp! the seafood flavored soup as long as I don't eat the actual seafood. *Sigh* Who am I kidding? I wasn't telling the truth. As the Malays say it, "Padan muka".)
It was good. Thanks to dear ol' Pinz. I think it was a success! But of course there were tremendous amount of leftovers. Pinz took it back home to give her dog (That's what I heard.).
I don't want to elaborate much because I'm soo tired. Only had 3 hours of sleep.
After the steamboat ended it was about 1 something in the morning. Near to 2am, if I'm not mistaken. Pinz and Diyana tumpang to go home. I sent Diyana home first then Pinz at her house in Old Klang Road. Then I went straight back home.
By the time I reached home, it was about 3.30am. After freshening up and all, it was already 4am. I went out like a light.
Next thing I knew, it was morning already. Cepat gila rasa! It felt like I just blinked for a second and it was suddenly morning. Sheesh! I woke up at 7am. Which is considered to be late for opening shift.
When I started work, I was a bit groggy. My brain couldn't function well. Luckily I didn't drop any mugs or anything.
After I finished work at 2pm, Lena and Mommy dropped by to buy lunch for Toks. We bought sushi for ourselves, while they wanted Kuey Teow.
Since I'm allergic to seafood, I only ate the salmon one. (And a California Roll. Shhhhh!!)
After that, I rested for a while until it was time to go jamming with Izzet. He's helping me to get better at drums. He knows the right technique, which is cool to me.
Plus, I silently have a schoolgirl crush on him. Hehehehehehe.
It's strange you know. Whenever we message one another, I always tend to check my phone for his replies. The last time I remember doing that was with my ex.
I feel like an idiot everytime I check my phone. *Sigh*
Anyways, the jamm session went just alright. Nothing extraordinary. We played simple songs only. I hope he can replace me as the drummer in my band so I can step down and just become the backup singer. I don't want to be the drummer anymore, as much as I love it, I have to focus more on my studies than the band. Sorry, Afiq. But I know my priorities.
Ooh. Speaking of priorities, I gotta study now. Ciao!~

Ciao!~

Ex in The City
Can't wait for the 9th!
I've worked almost everyday just so I would have enough cash for the trip. Even though it would be a short one (Because I have tutorial classes to attend.) I know I would enjoy it. (Hopefully la. Unless the ol' folks start criticizing the cooking and cleaning skills. Which I doubt that they wouldn't do that.)
Got myself a list of things to buy for me friends here. Not something expensive or anything cause the list of friends is long. And I mean REALLY long. (I just can't seem to scratch some off the list.) Keychains would suffice, me thinks. Haha.
Jumpin', jumpin', jumpin'.
Yesterday, I was on my home from class and I took the KTM back. I saw my "ex". Ugh! Seeing his face again made me feel all coiled up with mixed emotions.
Hatred. Sadness. Happiness. And did I mention hatred? Pure hatred. Deadly pure. (Hey, do you think they might come up with a perfume named after "Deadly Pure"? Just a passing thought. Continuing on.......)
His hair was a bit longer from the last time I saw him. The last time I saw him was when he worked in Carrefour. As a part time job while waiting for SPM results to come out. I would occasionally see him pass by Starbucks. And yeah, with that arrogant little shitty expression on his face.
Ok, the low down here is that I used to have the HUGEST, most GIGANTIC-est crush on him. Why? I don't know. He ain't all that anyway.
So, I used to like motivate myself to go to school just to see him. His class was lower than mine in Form 2 and 3. So every time during agama class, I would always get hyped up because our classes would campur. Sad little thing, I was. So, I know he knows that I know he knows I like him. Did that make sense to you?
During Form 2, word got around that I liked him. (I think. Because how else did he find out about it? How the heck???) I supposed he was desperate, and so was I, in that he asked me to be his girlfriend. In the surau. On a wednesday. Cinta di Surau Sekolah. Eew! That sounds so...... bleugh!
May God forgive us all for the sins we've committed. *Bows head*
Anyway, I seized the opportunity. Carpe diem. And no, it doesn't mean carp, as in fish.
I still remember that day because he was the first ever guy that I was positive I really, really, really, really liked. Usually, I would just have a certain admiration towards some guy and then it fades away quickly. But I had a crush on this particular guy for years. So, when he asked me, I was so thrilled.
But the thrill didn't last long.
He started to ignore me when we were to come across another in the corridor or whatever. I was thinking, what's wrong? What happened?
I started asking my friends about it and their opinions about what I should and should not do. It sucked really. We lasted for only 2 and a half months. Which was surprising to me how we could've lasted that long. It was doomed from the moment I said "yes".
From then on, I just tried to stay friends with him. Which proved to be an impossible task because he's such an arrogant little twit. He knew that I still liked him. I kept myself busy with sports, cheerleading, studies, other curricular activities and other boys. But I couldn't lie to myself.
Everything turned out for the better in the long run. I was ok until I received this message from this guy who was my senior. We were on the way to the Handball tournament at SMK Sri Muda. I was thinking, who was this guy? He told me not to trust my friends. WOW. Very mysterious, he was. I asked my friends about it. They just told me to ignore him. Which I did. Hoes over Bros, or so I thought.
Turns out he was right all along. I couldn't trust 'em hoes. The chit-chatter and occasional SMS-ings and MSN-ings evolved into something more. Something I didn't see coming. We fell in like.
It was tough to be with him. My Mom, sisters and brothers all disapproved of him and forbade me to go out with him. They sensed that he was a bad apple. I didn't think he was, though.
After our daily, weekly and monthly arguments, I guess he just got sick and tired of it. We broke up a couple of times but managed to get back together again. But the last time that we broke off, it was at Secret Recipe in Subang Parade, we had both agreed to it. I, of course, cried myself to sleep almost every night. I don't really know what happened between us. It was like a dying candle. "Life's Brief Candle" kinda situation, you know. The flame that represented our love for another just died without us paying no heed about it. I couldn't get over it. We lasted for 8 months when I started hearing rumours about him going behind my back with another girl, or girls. So, it just ended there. I am happy, though, that he's lasted so long with his new girl.
So, anyway, back to that dumbass ex at the KTM. I knew he saw me. But as usual he would ignore me and do that arrogant face of his. I hate that face. Bagus sangat la tu. He thinks I'm still in love with him or something ke? Don't flatter yourself ok? It was the stone age when I got over you.
Ciao.
