Hey Reader,
just now someone in my friends list in Facebook (I don't even know who that person is, by the way, and I'm deleting him after posting this blog entry.) posted his relationship status as "engaged". And the funny thing is... he suddenly posted his status saying: keep it to yourself.
Okay, for me that was stupid because he said keep it to yourself meaning it's implied that he wants it to keep it on the down-low. But then why did he publicly announce it in Facebook??
It just boggles the mind, actually.
To me, I think it's rather... err.. how shall I put it... poyo to actually publicize your relationship status over in Facebook.
Sometimes I see some of my friends (the people that I do know, unlike Mr. John Doe here.) displaying their relationship status as "in a relationship" or "it's complicated" or "in an open relationship" and days later they'll be having a fight with their significant other and changing their status as "single" and then there'll be a big hype about people asking "OMG! what happened?" and yada yada yada.. and then a few days after the "show-stopping" event, they'll be changing their relationship status as "in a relationship" again.
To me................ I think you either should just not post anything (like what I'm doing..) so it would seem rather mysterious in that people would wonder and ponder about whether or not you are, or not, in a relationship with Mr. X. And I'll be happily saying... nope. :p haha!~
Sheesh people! What's with the fuss about wanting to tell the whole world that you're with somebody? I don't even care if people think I'm single or not. Why should I inform people (especially those I don't even know!) about me relationship status.
Me thinky if you wanty to knowy, just asky me-ey, okie?
This was just a spontaneous blog entry. Don't mean to offend you if you just so-happen to be in the category of those I've just mentioned. Not targeting anyone here, I swear.
Scouts Honor!
Take care.
Sincerely,
Leanna Darwin.
